How to Apply for Best Results

1. Preparation: Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loose debris. Block off the work area, as stripping solutions make floors extremely slippery.
2. Dilution: Mix 1-part Waxstrip 80A with 4 to 10 parts warm water in a mop bucket, depending on the thickness of the old wax build-up.
3. Application: Apply the stripping solution generously to the floor using a cotton string mop. Do not allow the solution to dry on the floor; keep it wet for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the chemical to work.
4. Agitation: Scrub the wet floor thoroughly using a slow-speed floor machine equipped with a black stripping pad or use a stiff-bristled floor scrub brush for corners and edges.
5. Removal & Rinsing: Vacuum up the liquefied wax slurry using a wet-dry vacuum or automatic scrubber. Rinse the floor thoroughly with clean water at least twice to remove all chemical residues. Allow the floor to dry completely before applying a new coat of sealer or polish.
